Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Hello, I had a group of friends over at my house for a bonfire. There was about 15 people total, and we were indeed drinking moderately. I was in my backyard when an event happen between two of my friends. They are both females, and the altercation happened when one accidently hit the others drink which spilled on her pants. My friend, immaturely tackled the girl and striked her in the face several times before someone stopped it. My friend who was hurt left. She did not go to the emergency room or receieved medical attention. She now wants the information of the girl who assaulted her to press charges, mind you this is 5 days later. I have no problem helping her out with anything because i believe that was outrageous. But i have to also think about myself, will I be prosecuted or fined for anything since it was on my property? Also the girl who was the assaulter is 20 years old and was drinking before the event. Will there be any reprocutions for me? Thank you.
