Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

If the incidence of personal injury happened when my child was with me under my custody and when I filed the personal injury lawsuit, can I represent my child in pro per? The lawsuit is on going but during this process, she is no longer under my custody. Please advise me whether I can continue to represent her since she was under my custody when this incidence occurred. Thanks.

It was illegal for you to represent her in the first place unless you are a licensed attorney. Pro per means representing yourself, and yourself only. You have no right to represent your children, regardless of custody. It is a crime.
