I would not be happy with not dealing with the lawyer at first, though in the case, you would expect to deal with secretaries and paralegals. If you are unhappy now, it might be time to change.

You deserve the personal attention of an attorney. 6 weeks after the accident should be plenty of time to get the police report and determine coverage on the other party. It may be time to change attorneys.

Re: Should I get a different lawyer??????????

Remember: the attorney works for you. If you are not satisfied with the services of your attorney, you can fire him/her at any time. You should keep in mind, however, that the fired attorney can file a lien on your case for the reasonable value of his/her services.

Notwithstanding, any claim the "fired" attorney would make for fees cannot exceed the agreement for fees that you have with your new attorney.

Good luck, and I hope that you find an attorney that you are satisfied with.
