Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I signed my Release in Full of All claims 2 months ago and the Atty. won't pay me. He said the PD is still being disputed. I thought if I signed a Release, I am to be paid? The office seems fishy, they don't return calls etc. Can I demand my money?

If the insurance company has already paid part of the damages then there is no reason to hold up paying you your portion. Demand the money and a detailed explanation why it has been withheld or you might need to go to the State Bar for an investigation.
