Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

my son stepped on a piece of candy wrapper paper. he slipped into their boxes and,fell on the floor. manager on duty was notified and a incident report was documented. i received a copy of the report. he has been seen by a docter. do i have a potential case

You may potentially have a case. The basic elements of a case are 1) someone is hurt, and 2) it's someone else's fault. In this case, because your son went to a doctor, it sounds like he was hurt. Also, because the wrapper was on the floor, it MAY be the store's fault (although maybe not, it depends on how it got there and how long it was there). Whether or not your should retain an attorney depends on how seriously your son was injured.
