Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

STD transmission lawsuit

Recently I've discovered my ex-girlfriend knowingly transmitted a STD to me. My burden of proof would be to retrieve her medical records showing that she knew she was infected prior to meeting me. What can I do?

Re: STD transmission lawsuit

Under the circumstances, you may have a cause of action for battery, if the conduct at issue was done willfully, knowingly and/or intentionally. You would have to subpoena the medical records once a court claim was filed. If you would like further assistance in this matter, contact us directly.
