Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

i am being sued for $63,0000. It is because the lady I got into an accident with hired a lawyer and is not happy with the settlement being offered by my insurance company.....i have sent in the court docs. My question is if she does win can my wages be garnished? if yes, how much? I have 3 kids and I was going approx 5 miles per hour upon impact.

Please advise

If you had insurance, your insurance should take care of this and protect you from being personally resposible. You might want to hire an attorney to ride over the insurance company to make sure they take care of you.

Ditto.

Your insurance company attorney will handle this as best as is possible. If the damages result in a settlement or a judgment for more than the policy limits, then your personal assets can be sought. That seldom happens because your attorney is there to prevent it. All these questions and issues need to be directed to him, not strangers out here for 'handy tips and hints' that are not 'legal advice'.
