Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Wrongful Death Suit

How long does a typical wrongful death lawsuit take before it goes to trial? I've been involved in a wrongful death suit (I am the plaintif) and it has been 2years nine months and we still have not gone to trial. Should I be worried? The defendants seem to me to be using alot of stall tacticts (firing attorneys, they are on their 4th)Is this common practice in this type of lawsuit?

Stalling is very common for defendants. Did they bring any summary judgment motion? When was the trial date scheduled?

Calif court rules say a case should be tried within one year, so you should either check with the court to see the status, or consult another attorney to help you. Contact me if interested.
