30 day Quit Notice

The property on which we rent was just sold,there are two other rentals on the lot. The new owners just gave us a notice of 30 day Quit. We were not informed of the possibility to vacate at the closing of escrow,do we actually have more than the 30 days to find another place to live?

Re: 30 day Quit Notice

If you have a lease the new owner must honor it. If you are month to month then you only have the 30 days.
