landlord trying to evict after foreclosure

I recieved two letters stating that I ahve 60 days to vacate the home I am renting.My landlord has served me with 3day pay or quit notice .Can she do this although the house has been foreclosed?

They have to choose how they wish to proceed -- on the 3-day or 30- or 60-day notices. The new owner is entitled to receive rent as long as you stay. However, you might be able to strike a bargain to be paid some money to leave quickly -- called "cash for keys." Sometimes the banks would like to empty the property in a hurry.

You might try to negotiate to at least stay through the holidays. They might want you to sign a stipulated judgment that you'll be out by XXX date. Then, if you don't leave by that date, they'd have the sheriff evict you a short time later.
