Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Hello, I live in California and am just obtaining both my MLO (Mortgagee Loan Officer) and Real Estate Sales person license and have had two job offers. One is with the company that I did my real estate schooling through, the other is for a mortgage company that requires the Loan Officer to hang both their MLO and Real Estate License with them. Is it legal to work for two companies; can I hang a copy of my license at each? I plan to sell real estate at one, loans at the other. Is there a conflict of interest?

There is no conflict of interest as long as you do not work on anything where each company has an interest in it. You would have to contact the DRE to see if your license permits working at only one company and if you can use a copy of the license insead of the original.
