Non Disclosed Information With Home Purchade

6 Months after purchasing my home I was having new floors put in and the

job could not be completed because of severe termite damage. There is no

report in my papers nor was an inspection done. I paid for a consultation of a

lawyer but I cant afford the thousands of dollars to take the seller to court, I

have so many problems in my home, the fireplace, the furnace isnt up to

state code, all the plumbing is bad, severe termite damage inside and out. I

dont know what to do but I cant afford to get it all fixed and I know the seller

has broken several laws and I want him to fix it and give me money back. I

need guidance. The paperwork I was given when closing for termites is not

even for my unit, i called the company. Several people in my complex have

termites as well

Depending on the facts of your case, including paperwork, you may have a case for fraud and/ or failure to disclose.

Personally, I review records prior to taking a case, and many lawyers, like me, will give a free initial consultation.

It should not be hard for you to find a lawyer who would litigate a failure to disclose case on a contingency. You should consult a bar referral service in your area. Any lawyer who wants money up front for fees if you have a clear cut case is just jacking you around.

in addition to mr anthony's advice i would consul with and anttorney who has an expertise in real estate law and professional malpractice law or you may need 2 attorneys who will work with each other -- since you don't have much money posibbly, possibly you can find one who has experience and will work on a contingency rather than hourly, see the aid of your local bar association but as for an experienced attorney, 10 years or more if possible with the abouve specialties and you can interview free more than one -- if what you say is true and have good documentation you do have #s to claimes --- good luck and get working on this immediatly, yesterday now
