You should file your Charge of Discrimination and forced termination with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and hire an attorney to represent you in pursuing your claims and lawsuit. Contact me if interested; employee rights have been my specialty area for 15 years.

Please let me know more specific details: how long you worked there, how big is the employer, how many witnesses you have. It seems like that you have a good case. When did you quit? Did you go to Dept. of Fair Employment Housing and received right to sue letter?

from the facts given so far, you have a very strong case for sexual harassment, primarily predicated on the hostile work environment legal definition of it. if you email me back with more specific facts to your case, including whether or not you have witnesses, copies of the complaint submitted to HR, their written response back to you, as well as how long ago this occured, i may be able to further assist you legally.

You may well have an issue with the manner in which the company investigated, or did not investigate the complaint. Further, if you were forced to quit as a result, you may be able to file a complaint with the DFHE. This is the first step you need to take. Thereafter, you can obtaina right to sue from the DFHE and proceed with a civil complaint. If you desire further consultation and are in the area, please feel free to contact our office.
