Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

Sexual Harrassment?

I was or believe I was sexually harrassed by the owner of the gas station where I previously worked last november, the owner of the store made me feel completely uncomfortable asking me what I would do for him if he taught me the basics of being a manager, and when my back was hurting me, told me to come in the office and shut the door so nobody ''thought anything'' then telling me to stand over the desk so he could rub my shoulders and then asked if he could see my skin and if I minded taking off my shirt or if i minded laying on the floor with my shirt off covered by a towel, his actions were unwelcomed and because of how uncomfortable he made me feel I had to quit working there. There were a few other incidents prior to that, my question is was I sexually harrassed and what should I do now? I still feel uneasy about the whole situation and its been at least 4 months, I feel helpless and violated. So im confused on what type of action to take?

Re: Sexual Harrassment?

if you can email my office directly with more information on your case, as well as how many other "incidents" you had with this manager before you quit, i may be able to further assist and/or represent you legally in this matter.

Re: Sexual Harrassment?

If it is your word vs his, and you waited half a year to complain, you will have trouble with the case. If you have any witnesses, who saw/heard/observed him do this to you, or who know it happened to others, or who you or the boss described it to at the time, maybe you have a possibility of convincing the defendant, or a judge and jury, that it happened. IF so, and if the guy has sufficient assets to be able to pay a settlement or judgment, then you can contact me to consult on the facts and case.
