Legal Question in Social Security Law in California
hello im disabled and i currently receive social security...but i only receive $805 a month which is only enough for me to pay my rent and none of my other bills. i currently have to send my car back to the company because i can no longer make the payments, i also dont get enough to even pay my light and gas bill. i was wondering is there anyway i can start receiving more benefits?

I am afraid not, the amount that you receive from Social Security Disability is based on the amount that you contributed to the Social Security system when you were working.
