who gets the survivor benefit check?

I am 4wks.away from being 18 yrs of age. my mother just applied for me to receive survivor benefits from social security. ssa is having the check sent to my sisters account because she has my name on her account. I want to know whos check it is. is it my moms or is it mine or what? i will not see a dime of this money if they get access to it first. How can you help me?

Speak with the SSA supervisor about appointing a guardian or to hold the checks until you're 18.
