Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

driver license suspension vs. right to work
if you have a commercial license suspended for too many traffic vio;ations, can the state deny you work in your profession? this would concern hauling product. the suspension is not for accidents or a d.u.i. moving violations only. i have 6 points on my license. also, if this pertains, how can a person with numerous d.u.i. convictions be allowed to drive on a restricted license to allow them to earn aliving in their chosen field and i am not.
