i recently was caught in a ''speed trap'';in kern

county;on the northbound I-5.ahead of me(approx.500

ft.)was a flashing sign stating 35mph;and i began to downshift my truck to comply with this posted speed.

in front of me was another semi.beside and behind me

were also semis.parallel to the fwy,on the shoulder was a cop with a radar gun.trk#1 was in the rt.lane,trk#2(myself)was in the left lane, behind trk#1

trk#3 was about 3seconds behind#1,and trk#4 was in the

left lane behind me.trk 1 accelerated and passed the cop,i was downshifting and pulled in behind trk#1.the

officer whipped in behind me,and pulled me over.he said i was speeding.the posted speed limit for semis is 55,i was doing 54 and still had not entered the

posted 35.i do not believe i am the trk that registered the speed on the gun,but the officer says otherwise.i am facing the loss of my commcl license, and am in need of legal assistance before

Re: speed traps

I have written a book on how to beat speeding tickets. The full text of the book can be read on my website at http://www.norman-law.com

Go to Online Books, then select how to beat a speeding ticket. It sounds like you have a case based upon the facts you articulated. I am a Southern California attorney however, I do many of these types of cases especially when your commercial license is on the line. I am not exactly sure where Kern County is, however we might be able to work something out so that I can represent you in this case. My phone number is 818-998-1584.
