Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

What if 3 sisters are listed in a Will, 1 of them was named by her given name ie; "Jane Doe"in the Will & the other 2 sisters were named as just "nieces" in there Uncles Will. The named by her name sister was notified. The other 2 were not notified...They have the same Dad yet their Uncle must of forgot their names? The named sister got $20,000.00..the 2 just named as nieces got nothing due to never being notified, how could they of when they were unaware.- Then say like 10 years or more goes by the 2 nieces finally find out about it..What happens then? Thanks~

You would have to talk with an appellate attorney or probate litigation attorney to determine if you can appeal the court's order in the probate due to the time that has passed. In addition, it may be next to impossible to track down any remaining money from the estate ten years later.
