Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

I took care of my father his last 8 years.Older sister is trustee of fathers estate. Trust orginally 50/50. amendment added sister 40%,bro. in law20%, me 40%. It took nearly 2 years for me to get a copy of trust.7 bank accounts are listed but am told nothing in them. the contents of two safe deposit boxes no longer exist, and my father when alive, told me that my sister is to receive $12,000 for a car but on one of the amendments dated two years after he told me, it states $25,000

estate was sold late july with a 15 day escrow. I'm still waiting for my share...Does this sound like something fishy is going on? what can I do?

I agree with Attorney Seidler. It should not have taken 2 years just to get a copy of the trust. Among other things, you are entitled to an accounting of the trust. The situations you've described concerning the escrow, the car, and the trust amendments are suspicious, as well. You should meet with a trust/Probate attorney sooner rather than later.
