Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
My father left everything to me in his will. His house was 50% mine and 50% his. I am submitting a petition for successorship to the courts for the 50% since it's under 150k. My question is, do I have to notify my dad's brother who is not mentioned in the will and had no relationship with my father?
