Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

my husband is on life support and the only way he communicstes is with someone lse doing a spell board for him he bliks his eyes yes and no. we need to make an amendment to his will immidatly do i have to get n attorny to come to our house or can we write it on paper and have it noterized?

A truly terrible situation. You have my condolances and best wishes and prayers. Question for you...can he make any kind of a mark on paper? If so, then you can have a notary deal with the situation. Remember to be cautious about changes because it can be argued that he is not capable of stating his wishes and is now subject to undue influence.

Without knowing what there already is prepared and knowing what the planned changes are, it is difficult to advise you properly.
