funds??

Do you mean the sale of real property that was titled in the name of the trust? The answer to your question depends on the terms of the trust and any other issues in the trust administration.

I would just add that it also depends on whether there are other estate assets that need to be liquidated (sold) and whether there are expenses and debts that need to be paid. The trustee and the attorney may also be preparing an accounting to be included with the distribution of assets to the beneficiaries.
