Settling the estate

Re: Settling the estate

We typically charge $1,000 to do the small estate affidavits and related paperwork to close the accounts and get the balance. You might try to ask them, "I know you can't tell me how much is in the account but is it worth it to hire an attorney who would charge us $1,000?" Good luck. -John
