Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Surviving Daughter of Deceased Parents

I am (1) of (5) daughters, both our parents have deceased. Our mother died (2003) Our father (2005) they had life insurances, home, land, stocks and bonds, money accounts, wills etc. Everything was to be divided equally among all (5) daughters. I have been left out and taken advantage of by (4) of my sisters. What can I do? I know nothing and they will not tell me anything. They all changed their phone numbers and I can not get any answers. Please help me!

Re: Surviving Daughter of Deceased Parents

You should contact the probate court where your parent was domiciled and where real property was owned. For example, the LA Superior Court website has helpful information on where to turn to. http://www.lasuperiorcourt.org/probate/index.asp?selfhelp=1

Re: Surviving Daughter of Deceased Parents

Sounds like you need a sit down with an attorney to discuss your options. You should gather as much information and documentation as you can, such as whether there was any real property, amount of personal property, bank accounts, etc. Were you given any notice of any hearings in relation to court, etc.
