Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Trust Settlement Question

My step-father contested my unlce's trust. The trustees settled with him a couple days before it went to trial. They gave him a big chunk of money. Now, our % that we were going to receive is much less and we don't think that's fair. We think we should get our % before the settlement is paid, which would just reduce the amount left to unnamed charities. Is there anything we can do?

Re: Trust Settlement Question

You can retain an attorney to determine whether at this late date you can petition the superior court to attempt to have the trustees removed (or for other orders related to the settlement).
