Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Do I have a case?/

I was injured on the job and had a doctors note limiting to 8 hrs a day , the company was making me work 18-20 hrs a week overtime, or I would lose my job, it got to the point that I had to be taken off completly is there a recourse for this,? Im still not able to work and have been off 5 months now.

You didn't mention if you had filed for worker's compensation benefits, but I would recommend that you do so, before you lose your rights due to the time limitations of worker's compensation. You stated you were "taken off completely", and I don't know what that means entirely, but if you were taken off benefits, you have the right to appeal that decision, or at least have an AME or QME (medical examiners) revisit the issue. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.
