Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I am confused?

I have been deemed disabled due to the repetitious use of my expremities at work (DOI 2/2006). I had been off work since 6/2007 and have been released from my employer (7/2008) due to the inability to continue to hold my position open. After seeing the same QME for a third time, I have been given a 20% impairment for each upper extremity which converts to a 12% impairment of the whole person and when combined it comes out to be a 23% impairment of the whole person. The QME has stated that I will not need surgical intervention, but will require non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents and possibly stronger analgesics, my question is will I recieve unemployment, and if so, when would it be effective? Would it be from the date I was released from my employer or from the date I was deemed P/S?
