I hurt my back at work - should I tell my boss - it is really hurting and I tun the plant is closing so should I tell them about it or is it too late now

Generally, you must let your employer know immediately after you've been hurt. Ask the personnel or human resources office for a workers' compensation claim form as soon as possible. It may not be too late, depending on your date of injury.
