You have a couple of options. Go back to the doctor and explain the pain you are experiencing. If you do not feel comfortable with this physician, you have the right to change to another physician after 30 days after you file the claim. You may be required to pick a physician from the insurance company's Medical Provider Network (MPN), however. Contact your claims adjuster to obtain the website for the Medical Provider Network.
