Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

life time medical

I would like to know how to cash out my life time medical with the state of CA. I am basically being forced out of my job because I will not give up my disability or my lifetime medical.

Re: life time medical

If you are really being discriminated against because of an industrial injury, the hurry over to a WC applicant's attorney [be careful in your selection, as many of them are run like mills so you may never see the attorney again until you meet at a hearing]. But if your employer is saying that your permanent disability award of no heavy work prevents you from continuing as a ditch digger, that is reasonable and not improper. Unless you are absolutely sure that you have other medical coverage that will treat you for the WC injuries, why sell away those medical right when you will only be paid a few hundred dollars if anything for them?

You need to speak to someone that you can tell everything to add who can then advice you if you have a case.
