Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I live in Los Angeles California. I was injured at work and had my left index finger partialy amputated. The Orthopedic Surgeon is giving me an 11% disability rating.I am not sure what this means and what type of compensation if any i am entitled to. Thank you

It means that if 0% means no diability and 100% is like a vegatable state your disability would be 11% plus factor of age and type of work and which body part impairment and it means you have lost percentage of ability to do your customary work .
