Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Medical appaointment during work hours

I was scheduled to go to a doctor by my employers workers comp insurance for a work related injury, during my normal work hours. My employer will not pay me for the hours I missed from work, they will only pay mileage. Is this correct that they do not have to pay me for my missed hours?

I hope you are not trying to deal with the workers compensation without an attorney. you will never get what you are entitled to on your own. first off, once a doctor becomes your primary treating doctor, that's all she wrote. in other words you want to go to your own doctor, etc.. too much to explain here. i have a large workers compensation practice, call me for a free consultation at 818-427-6246
