Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

workers comp

I was injured on the job and have been returned to full duty, but am still under care of doctors and doing physical therapy. I have had to miss work for MD appts, therapy, and MRI and bone scan. They are making me use my paid time off (vacation, holiday & short term sick live) time. Can they do this? I also have extended time sick leave. They told me today that they are going back to January to deduct it from my PTO (paid time off).

Re: workers comp

yes, expecially if you are permanent and stationary, otherwise you might argue TTD. Case law supports the employer's position.
