Loan

in 2001 my employer made me a loan.

There is a signed contract for this loan

in 2003 he cleared me of the loan verbally. Now in 2009 i am no longer employed by him and have a complaint against him with les normes du travail du quebec, he has decided to collect the loan. Can he do this after 8 years even though he cleared me in 2003
