Legal Question in Disability Law in Colorado

lack of security

I live in a HUD building and they have no security. Because this is a building for elderly and handicapped people aren't they required to have security.

Your best bet is to go down to your HUD office and get a copy of the lessor agreement with HUD which enabled the landlord to receive HUD subsidies.

I don't think they are required to have security, but it may be in their contract that they have a safe environment and maybe things like outside lights fall inside of that requirement.
