Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Colorado

Retail Purchase dispute
I bought a floor model vacuum for $423.00 /w trade in at a local vacuum dealship.The next day I found out that the average retail price for the exact same vacuum cleaner, is $300-$400 less at several other area dealerships.This same day I tried to return the vacuum unused for a cash refund and my used vacuum.The vacuum store manager refused my return reguarding the said store policy.I left the store immediately and cancelled my check.My question to you is what is my legal stand point.

Basic consumer law in this country is still caveat emptor - let the buyer beware.

The law does not protect one from paying too much for an item if there is no fraud involved.

Failing to do comparison shopping before purchasing is a common error, but the law provides no remedy for that kind of ignorance.
