Home Repair Contract
Thursday my 82 year old Mother signed a repair order to fix a sewer line for $14,000. She is being overcharged $6-8,000. They have dug a hole about half way.
They have also received half $7,000 via credit card.
Can we stop the work, can we get our money back

What do you mean she is being overcharged? Does the contract have one price and she was billed another?
There are very limited rights to terminate a contract. You need to contact an attorney to review the contract and facts.
