Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

I was arrested in 2006, on a charge of mutual possesion. I had been going to court to try and settle the matter but nothing was resolved. I missed a court date and had called knowing I wasn't going to be there. My mother had back surgery and I had to fly back to Indiana to help care for her while my father was out of town. I forgot all about it and just got a background check done and it came back. i called the court to see how I could take care of it, now I have an active warrant out for my arrest and my bond is set at $100. That is also the amount of the fine. I'm not sure of what to do. I no longer live in that state. I'm not sure if they will try to get me on something else as well. When I got arrested all I got was a ticket stating what I was arrested for and when my first court date was. I no longer even have that ticket. What would be the best thing to do? While I was going to court, I was told it was a petty case.

The most effective way is to hire a lawyer like me to represent you and take care of the case against you.

There is no crime called "mutual possession". Possession of illegal weapon or drugs or paraphernalia are likely charges. only the last one is a petty offense.

You need to be candid about the charges to enable professional like us to give you the best possible answer.

Sometimes, even petty offenses can come to haunt you for along time.
