Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

i was found guilty kiddnapping and stalking related to D.V. in Colorado Springs and I lived in Florida and still do. it was involving a girlfriend that lived with me for 8 years in fl. ..she had left me and went to Co. and was staying with her dad. I had a P.D. and feel , well im sure I was no given a proper defence. how do I go about asking for my case to be retried and some answers as to why things were knot done. I spent less then 2 hours total with my PD before we went to trail.between me flying back and forth for court dates. I would see her maybe 2 min. before we went in front of judge. all this happened over thanksgivin,Xmas, new years and the PD s vacation she lost some voice mail recording I had givin her or her very young investagator. he also interviewed 4 witness at three different locations. did this within a 1 hr. time frame.I gave a trail transcript of case where she had charges on prior BF and he was found not guilty because of her drug use and lies that while on stand she ammitted to. and in her 3rd interview she claimed that the second interview where she said this did not happen, that she had lied in the origonal interview because she was mad. she talked about not wanting to get on stand because last time she did in another DV case in fl. the DA for her and his PD made her look bad. and there are alot of other problems with the case also .but I just think this was not givin proper consel..would like to get a lawers oppion on this thanks Thomas Jefferson Ward

If you feel your counsel provided sub-par representation, you need to file a motion for new trial under CRCP 35(c) claiming ineffective assistance of counsel.
