Legal Question in Employment Law in Colorado

I signed a non-compete clause for a corporation and then quit after two years of being there. After being off work for a month one of the competitors contacted me and asked if I wanted a job. Most of the customers are already at both places and I am not contacting them to have them come to the current location.I had heard from a former customer that they are not binding in the state of Co, is this true?

It is not true that noncompetition agreements are not binding in Colorado. They may entirely binding if they fall under one of the applicable allowable categories for these agreements. There is no way to know if this contract may be binding based on your limited facts.

To answer your question will require the review of your agreement. Contact an attorney as soon as possible.
