Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Colorado

Exclusion of Adult Child in Will

My mother has a will, no trust, dividing all assets between 6 adult children. She is currently wanting to exclude one child from the will. Can she do this? or does she have to include this child and does she have to give this child 1/6 of everything? or can she state what this child can get?

Re: Exclusion of Adult Child in Will

Your Mother may redo her Will as she chooses and she is not under requirement to leave any of the children anything.

Nevertheless, she would be well advised to seek competent legal counsel to draft her Will.
