revocable living trust

since I owned several properties before I was married, can I make TWO revocable living trusts, one with my spouse and one by myself?

Whether you can make more than one revocable living trust does not really turn on whether the property was separate before your marriage.

There are many tax, financial, and personal considerations that go into setting up any part of your estate plan, including revocable trusts.

I would recommend that you confer with an attorney, and possibly with a financial advisor, before setting up any trusts. This will help to ensure that you get the most benefit out of your estate planning.
