can i sue for past due money

i own a cleaning company and one of my customers canceled the service and said no one came to clean but the real reason is because they were past due and i threatend to cancel service they said this happpened in may and they called and canceled in august i don't understand why they waited that long. but i was the one cleaning that account so i know they're lying. but they didn't give me a written thirty day notice for cancelation as the proposal aggreement says. they also said they are not paying me for june or july what can i do about this...thanks

If they have not paid according to your agreement you could sue them. Small claims court might be the way to go, depending on the amount in dispute. You would be able to collect for unpaid past bills and probably for the 30 days required for the cancellation.
