What is the Statue of Limitations for collections of a credit card debt in the State of Connecticut.

I had a credit card debt appromiately 5 yrs ago, and just rec'd a supiona (the amount is $1500) ... what can I do?

You are still within the statute of limitations which is 6 years. However if you send me your collection letters and keep track of the collection calls from collection agency you may have a claim for Fair Debt Collection Practices.
