Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut

Search and Seizure

My local authorities executed a Search & Seizure warrant of my apartment last September. The took everything related to my PC. The detective in charge said he ''would contact me'' regarding the outcome. Well that was nearly 8 months ago and I haven't heard from anyone. Should I call the detective, sit tight and wait or contact a lawyer? They are looking for child pornography.

Thank you very much for any response.

Contact a lawyer. Ask your questions, explain your case in confidence, not on the internet.

Often the authorities take many months, or sometimes years investigating pornography rings. The best course of conduct for you, if there is contraband on your computer is to get legal representation immediately. If you have any further questions, please call at (800) 313-9619.
