Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Arrested with Capias Issued

A capias was issued for my ex for non-payment of child support. I just happened to discover that he has a court case pending for violation of probation from another case. His court date is scheduled for tomorrow. I am assuming he was not arrested because of the outstanding capias because he was released from custody on a PTA. Should I go to the court and inform them of the capias. Do I need any sort of assistance from a marshall? Who should I speak with at the court?

I would consult an attorney before you go to court and or notify the marshalls or anyone for that matter. If you cannot afford a private attorney you should seek the help from a public defender. If you need futher help, you can email me at [email protected].
