custody battle

my daughter's father is threatening to file for partial custody of our daughter and he hasn't been there for her nor does he have a reliable job or his own place. he is harrassing me and has made a threat to go down to the court and seek partial custody what should i do?

Nothing. If and when you get served with the papers, then you talk to a lawyer. (Many times threats are only threats)
