regarding divorce and legal entry into the home after you have left

I am getting divorced and left my husband becasue he is using drugs and alchol when i left the home he changed all the locks on the home and now i am forced to get my things at his convience is ther any way around this

First of all, he may have committed "criminal lockout," if that is still your home. You should seek the assitance of the local police department.

Secondly, you can seek a court order in your divorce case allowing you to go back and get your belongings. Just file a motion with the court and ask a judge to order a time to go back and retrieve everything.
