How do i find out if there is a lien on me? The person that sued me (was a bogus claim anyway) but the person died. how do i find out if the lien was lifted?

There are no "liens against a person." There are liens against property or judgments against a person. If you own real estate, and there was a judgment entered against you, the judgment creditor could file a lien against your real estate by recording notice on the land records. If you don't own real estate, then the judgment may be "recorded" against your credit. You can obtain a copy of your credit report from the major credit bureaus to see if it is on there.

You can also check the court file of the lawsuit where it was filed to see if judgment was entered.
